Starting at the same time as Weezer’s Green Stage, Sokabe Keiichi did a set at the nearby but decidedly humbler Naeba Shokudo. It was hard to drag myself away from Weezer, but it was a real treat to see a band with such a dedicated following. Keiichi shreds away with some rock N’ rolla guitar, and the committed of his fans come out to practically worship at his feet, shouting along to every glorious chorus.
Naeba Shokudo is a great little venue. I wish I could see someone I really loved peform there.
